Architectural Control Committee Request Form

LOOKING FOR A CHANGE?

All improvements, repairs, replacements, or modifications to the exterior of the property must be approved by the Architectural Control Committee. 

This is by no way meant to be an all inclusive list, but includes for example:

All exterior structure roofs, windows, doors, mailboxes, fences, concrete work including culverts, driveways, sidewalks, patios and any other concrete work, all paint and staining of finishes, all exterior structures including, fences, gates, swimming pools, hot tubs, all out buildings, garages, sheds, carports, breezeways, pergolas, patio covers, guest quarters, dirt work that may change or impact drainage of your lot or neighboring properties, or any other exterior improvement, modification, or repair to the home, lot or existing structures. Even storing a boat, trailer or motor home on your lot requires approval of a "Designated Storage Area" by the ACC to comply with our restrictions.

These items all require the approval of our Architectural Control Committee.  Complete and sign the ACC Approval Request Form and email it to RHHA@RosewoodHillHOA.com along with all required documentation for speedy consideration of your request!

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE ACC HAS UP TO THIRTY (30) DAYS TO APPROVE / DENY YOUR REQUEST! PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY!

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST TO ACC:

To help expedite your request, below are the items typically required as applicable so that the ACC can make an informed decision:

  • REQUIRED: Properly completed ACC Approval Request form that INCLUDES your Lot Number.
  • Review fee if applicable to your request (ref. ACC Guidelines above)
  • Survey - Most ALL requests require a copy of your survey. You can use the survey provided to you when you purchased your home.
  • For Designated Storage Areas of boats, trailers, RV's or motor homes -  Copy of Survey reflecting where on the property where the item will be stored
  • For Whole House Generators - Copy of Survey showing where on the lot the generator will be located
  • For Roofs for your House, Garage, Carport or any other structure – please include the actual shingle color and manufacturer
  • For Pools or hot tubs - Copy of Survey reflecting where on the property where the item will be built, name of builder, style of pool
  • For Home Additions - Copy of Survey reflecting where on the property where the item will be built, building and roofing materials, paint/stain colors (must be actual colors, "to match existing" will not be accepted), Size and dimensions.
  • For Buildings/Sheds/Patio Covers/Barns or any other Outbuilding - include type of foundation, and detailed description of building materials, roofing materials, actual paint/stain colors, Copy of Survey reflecting where on the property where the item will be built, Size and dimensions
  • For Fences - Include fence style, height, Copy of Survey reflecting where on the property the fence and any gates will be located as well as the materials to be used in construction. If staining include stain color
  • For driveways, concrete work, culverts, or other flat work - Include on a Copy of the survey to show where the repair/modification/improvement will be made on your property. To extend or add a driveway, a culvert review fee must be paid so that the ACC can recommend the correctly sized culvert for your home's location in our community for proper drainage per Section 20 of our Deed Restrictions.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS WHICH SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN YOUR ACC REQUEST:

  • All actual paint / stain colors that will be incorporated. ACC will NOT consider any request for “to match existing”.
  • Size and dimensions of structure(s)
  • Type of materials that will be incorporated
  • Who will be performing the work – if self, so state
  • Date Construction will begin (if you are unsure, note "upon approval")
  • If your project will include a debris trailer, please include the time frame that this item will be on the property to obtain approval prior to delivery.
